Yeah, an obvious nutter gets banned for the latest in a series of episodes of obvious nuttery. That means that there might be two weeks of decent and relatively polite discussion about tech issues.

If you don't want to be banned, don't continue to test the boundaries. From personal experience, I know you can go from ban on sight to hardly ever getting banned pretty quickly.

Frankly the moderation standard of this site is a disgrace, the double standards appalling. Ive lost count of the times ive read the old blah blah about ive had threats hate mail etc etc etc from a certain mod, as one of the methods used to beat people into silence. Im so sorry for you , no really.

When I first came to this site as a member it was the civ3 stories section that captured my interest, never did I desire or require to be treated as second class, and never did I want so badly to sit in anyones living room. None of the aforementioned owners of the living room had any part to play in my interest in this COMMUNITY, and if anything it is the aformentioned, well some of them who have been responsible from driving me at least, out of said living room.

Ban me if this is a bannable post, I mostly only bother with this place to read these days, there is still some wit and good humour about.

I'm interested in this event. Can you, or someone, tell what happened exactly?

I was at your house a while back and was playing my favorite game. We had broken into teams to make it more fun. In the other corner of the room, someone on my team did something stupid that I had no idea of. Suddenly the owner's of the living room start yelling at me because I didn't take responsibility for what my friend did. I was threatened to be thrown out of the house unless I admitted that I was a cheater.

This makes it sound like an orgy gone bad. You might want to be specific.

"for whatever reason" is what interests me. Here now we've had two posters who are involved in multiplayer, which is the true heart of this place, who have an interesting story to tell. A story which might help relieve us of a problem with these forums.

I gotta agree with this. Though the living room analogy was off as some have pointed out I must say I'm impressed with what Rah did here. This is communication. Those who have used this thread to leave have not helped with this and should reconsider based on what's really happened here. Up front and honest communication! Debate!

Though it's easy to disagree with what's been said, that's the good thing, disagree! Gripe! Speak your mind instead of leaving. That's a great new thing, support it.
