Individual Right to Arm Bears

I'm thinking that no, people should not be allowed to arm bears.

I think the bears should be allowed to decide. Certainly, people and bears deserve equal rights to guns (armed humans pose a definite threat to bears), but guns should not be forced upon bears - that's not the way to bring about equality.

That's ever so true. Plus, maybe bears aren't very good shots.

I hope you don't mean that people should be forced to provide bears with guns for free should the bears decide to have them.

Only groups should have the right to arm bears. No one individual should have that much power

They should be allowed to do it as long as the bear agrees.

But they should be responsible to train them in the proper use of the weapon as ell as in the proper safety instructions (don´t point this end at humans) and be held sesponsible for any deaths that result out of lack of training.

After all it isn´t the weapon that kills humans, but the bear wielding it.

This bear arming this is a US thing. Here in Denmark it is illegal to arm bears, and we have no problem with violence by armed bears.
