      On your shopping.

We have a family of 5, and only shop once a month (except for eggs and milk, which is delivered by a local dairy).

We have a stand alone freezer, and freeze the bread, meat, cheese, butter, and veggies in the winter. Very little is the premade dinners, or premade things. Just the raw materials to actually cook.

Most our shopping is done at a warehouse store, not the grocery store, as a result. Buy in BULK, then break it down into packs of what you need. That pack of 60 chicken breasts gets frozen in little 4 packs for us, for example.

The only time it can become difficult is towards the end of the month when the number of choices of what's left in the freezer is dwindeling.

When people come over from the U.S. (or whereever), I think you should make them pay for a lot more. I had a least $2,000 pesos left you couldda soaked me for.

              WTF?!

Ok Lancer, just go pick up some cans or something for some running around money.

Also, look for money taped to failing banks.

UnOrthOdOx, good ideas. This is why we drive to Eugene which we'll be doing less of but buying greater volume. Thanks!

                    Zkrib, check PMs.

A few days is nothing when its such a good friend as you are Zkrib.

For longer trips we'll charge a set amount to fully cover our expense, but no more. We are very tuned to what you and some of our fellow PolyTubbies have done with building these houses for the poor here and forgetting such just won't be happening.

                        Fixed.

I've been trying to get zkribbler to line me up with some slaves that come through LA but he seems offended by the request.

It's not like I'd put them to work in the fields or something.
