Yes but you said without social controls, humans have those. I mean homosexuals in the 19th century didn't have much choice but to conform. What if the shy bisexuals in our society chose the heterosexual identity, while the "rebellious ones" adopt the homosexual identity? While the majority feels "some" attraction to both sexes, but clearly leans towards one in their preferences?
Remember, the obvious theory is that sexuality is handled by the same mechanism in animals and humans. That is why homosexuality obvserved in animals points to a natural (Biological) source for human sexuality, not it being purely socialolgical.

Yes, that is true. But we have a great control of our instincts, why would socialy constructed sexual feelings if they do no cause too many mental problems be inferior? Do they not fall under the realm of cultural diversity?
Also, if we compare the Bonbobo to the normal Chimpanzee, are they not less violent? Perhaps a bisexual society is less violent than a sexual society or has other advantages over the classical arrangement like smaller population growth without the negative selection of exclusively homosexual couples not reproducing? Perhaps it is societies place to enforce such constructs.

Do you have evidence for such a theory? One example (and are other chimpazees monosexual? I don't know) could be completely happenstance. Additionally, there are so many other variables that such a theory (With the ammount of evidence stated) is stupid. My example of monosexual societiies in the example was a counter example to the 'everyone is bisexual' theory, which is why less is required. To start up a new theory you need a better argument.

I'm a 1. I'm almost exclusively heterosexual but I've had a couple of experiences with men and wouldn't mind if it happened again.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

I've still had sex with one, so that means I don't qualify for 6."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
