Come on! You have more brains than to try to spin that one! Really I don’t understand you.

If he didn't know she was his sister, I woudl say it is OK.

However, it seems to imply that he met his birth mother, and his sister, and then started having a relationship with her.

This is ****ed up and wrong.

if legally discouraging incest is considered eugenic, and if that's where the policy stops - yes I am for it. But typically in the past eugenic policies were a lot more than that.

I don't know what you are getting at with that. But either way, if you want to sleep with your sister there's a reason for that. In fact, you are always attracted to certain people for a reason.

PS Also there are people who are not attracted to their sibblings because their sibblings aren't attractive.
Sibblings usually have similar attraction levels. In fact, since people tend to hook up with other people who are similarly attractive to themselves you might come to the conclusion that more people would sleep with their siblings, but no people don't usually do that.

The thing is that people are attracted to other people for other reasons than physical attractiveness. You seem to be under the impression that people will be attracted to each other simply because they are actractive. This is just false.

Umm, I hate to defend Kid but you just stuck a whole lot of words in his mouth.

You are the one who brought homosexuality into the conversation. I'm just still trying to figure out if you have any valid point, or reason for bringing that into the conversation.

It is. And I agree with you. And I ever said all that people have to admit to avoid being hypocrites is to admit that they do endorse “some” eugenic policies.

Also I might go a step further than you, I would have the state encourage smart people to have children and perhaps to discourage people with serious hereditary diseases from having them, or perhaps encourage them to do so through artificial insemination where those diseases can be cured via genetic engineering.

He asked me if I had to choose what homosexuality is a disorder or a disease.

I said disordered, since I don’t see the argument for disease. He seemed to disagree with me, so I asked him why.

We are not going to prove or disprove anything here. Such things should be done in labs and in studies. I’m just trying to show my explanation is more elegant and simpler.
Cousin is another matter. Let's not go there. If you want to sleep with a member of your immediate family there is a reason for that. That's all I'm saying. It's not normal, and you probably have been abused or you are mentally ill, maybe a sociopath or something.

Yes it is, since it sets a bad example and has a negative effect on the genepool.

                              Yes, that is usually true.

We disagree on why. You seem to be arguing this is a priori wrong, while I am arguing it is wrong because society says it is wrong.

In a society tolerant of sibling incest, not all people wanting to have sex with their sibling would be mentally ill or sociopathic.

I didn’t say I agree with you. And if you would have read my comments on page one I never argued that homosexuality is a diseases or a disability. But I don’t think the desire to **** your relatives, by itself, is either.
