You're simply nutting all over the facts. Oerdin's main point, which was misleading but technically accurate is that 1995+6=2001 therefore 6 years without an attack (off by maybe 5 months or so, but generally accurate).
I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
I don't think Bush will be blamed generally for 9/11, but I do think it's preposterous to say that the fact that no other major terrorist attacks happened on his watch will be a major positive down the line. "At least it was only 9/11" is hardly a compelling argument.
Lime roots and treachery!

The other is that these things clearly happened in Bush's term. Remember that DanS is arguing it is all Clinton's fault, which makes his argument rididculous.
If he keeps working at it he might improve to Carteresque levels.

“In a democracy, I realize you don’t need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels. When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that’s the dictator, because he speaks for all the people.” - Jimmy Carter
Well, conservatives do like to rewrite history to make their biggest losers into heroes. Look at Reagan.

Considering that Grant's most innovative strategy was just throwing wave after wave of conscripts into a meatgrinder until attrition and inadequate supply wore the enemy down, I wouldn't say that's a ringing endorsement.
If fighting is sure to result in victory then you must fight....

No, not by a long shot...I expect Bush's popularity will go up with time and historical perspective.
Just about EVERYTHING Carter did was a disaster.
And Bush...was good to Africa? Then again, I haven't read up on the Carter administration. From what I've heard, it involved a swimming attack rabbit and some malaise.
Nonsense, Clinton bombed a Chinese embassy in peacetime and got away with it.
