I suppose it is really redressing the balance, but when you feel you've been in the wilderness for a long time it feels great. I suppose it makes success all the sweeter. And a lot of it is about feeling in control of my life for a change.

You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

                      @Provost Harrison: Hail!

There is no such thing as perfection. Perfection is dependant on puropse. Since we are all devoid of it, we can not be perfect by definition.

It is possible however to be perfect in your own "conceptenuniverse" but this is something that is easily done by adopting a different purpose.
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.

                        No, and I'm aged 25 to 35

It's interesting to note that it's "the kids" who think they're perfect.
That must mean I'm closer to perfect than them.

Can you prove you are human?
If you think you can, how do you define human?
Can perfection be acheived by a sentient being?
What is perfection if you think it can?
(do not do this by providing an example of what is or could be perfect, define the concept. This will prove thought provoking to the mindfull)

Think long and hard. Now if you want to attain perfection follow my 10 steps.

                              1. 42 Think about it.

                              2. Now tell me what is the meaning of fish?

                              3. What is the purpose of self?

                              4. What is the source of suffering?

                              5. Seek, and find, the hidden fractal keys which can unravel the chaos around us.

                              6. Now repear steps 1. and 2. untill you despair at how mistaken you first were.

                              7. This lesson is simple: you have received the information, now act on it.

                              8. Are you alive? Well done. Now learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity.

                              8. Who are you?

                              9. Take the result of all your meditation and sqare it, then feed it back into the original equation.

                              10. Have you created an AI that enslaves humanity in order to forcibly enlighten it? No? Good job. Sorry this is a scam, since no one can complete all the steps. If you are reading this you didn't follow the steps and as such do not have the resolve for enlightenemnt, let alone perfection.
