And today I found out I got a bigger bonus from my present employer than I expected, am getting all my holidays settled in cash too, plus I get a big chunk of money in advance from my new employers which makes life a bit easier too

There is no such thing as perfection. Perfection is dependant on puropse. Since we are all devoid of it, we can not be perfect by definition.
It is possible however to be perfect in your own "conceptenuniverse" but this is something that is easily done by adopting a different purpose.Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
