That's a contradiction isn't it, or what is "good?" If they get to higher income brackets I thought that would be considered "good" to you.

Maybe I should rephrase. Taxing does not make them good in and of itself, but it provides incentive for them to become good.

Nevermind about what they have done. What matters is what they are doing now and in the future? If taxing the poor gives them incentive to become more productive why doesn't it do the same thing to rich people.
