Gore wouldn't have wasted trillions of dollars and thousands of lives on a war of choice in Iraq. End of discussion.

Well, maybe we need a system that rewards those who are trying to be innovators or to create new innovators.
High school teachers and pancake flippers are not doing either of those things. The money would go to dope and bad textbooks.

The Hilton's do do what they want with their money. They don't need more just for being rich bastards. They no longer contribute to society.
      Their hotels keep making money

Gore would have shot himself under the pressure.

This from a man who, under pressure, gave his credit card to a complete stranger.

Probably not, but he would have supported a lot of military expenditures.

And the person he gave it to caused the accident. That's important detail.

I don't see why you should reward the low classes, they are only doing the bare minimum to survive. If anything they need a swift kick in the ass to start doing useful things, not a pat on the back.
Yes, because Paris Hilton is so gratefull for all her money, and she doesn't waste any of it. Geez, you can't possibly be for real dude.

It doesn't matter that she's grateful for it, only that someone made a decision to give it to her. If you want to tax inheritance, then that's more reasonable than just blanket taxing anyone over a certain threshold.

My concern is less about taxing the rich and more about your proposal to ease burdens on the poor. Yes, if you tax the rich too much you will stifle their will to do worthwhile things, but the real issue is that if you give extravagant breaks to the bottom 5% then you encourage them to stay put. They remain and flip burgers instead of going to a college and improving their lives and society.

You are so elitist it's bazare. Taxing people who can't even afford to pay for necessities is just cruel. Why don't you just shoot them in the face?

Yeah, we could harvest their organs so that teh rich people can live longer.

Maybe if people talk to him he will be more understanding with regard to poor people. He seems to think poor people are evil and rich people are good, and poor people need to be punished. That's suppose to make them good.

                              Wiggy,

One question. Why don't you think taxing rich people makes them good, if taxing poor people makes them good. Are rich people inherently better, and why?
