  • Fold this forum back into the OT?

We're planning a major forum restructuring that's being discussed here:

As part of that, we're not convinced that the activity level in this forum warrants keeping it around. How do you guys that actually use this forum feel about this? Is this forum doing well enough to warrant keeping it around or should it be put out of its misery?

We're not only interested in your vote but also why you voted the way you did, so feel free to explain yourself below.

Of course, if this forum is closed down you can still talk about history all you want in the main OT.

Don't touch history forum , as the few (semi)active history threads will quickly be totally buried in the mud of OT.

Yeah, this place is too inactive...
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

So what? are you worried fewer people will see them because they get buried? Certainly fewer people see them by far when they get posted here. In any case you can always necro the the buried thread if you're interested in responding to it.

          Leave the history forum be.

The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.

why do you object to the few active threads getting buried? just un-bury them.

Don't kill it, it took us soo long to get it.

If you cancel it, I'll leave poly and everyone knows that poly is dead without me.
