Well, that's because she was one.

    Almost glad I didn't get a job there....though I'm still looking. Blecch.
Good luck on your search. How long until you consider escort services?

If you mean working for them, I'm underweight and scrawny. I'd never sell.

I should take a course at Devry so I get Code Monkey Jokes.

My company doesn't hire anyone without a BSc or higher in computer science or mathematics.

And there's no code monkeys here, it's a boutique consulting firm. If you had any idea the rates we charged clients per hour, you'd see why the term "code monkey" doesn't suffice. Code Monkeys are Devry graduates, you are correct there...

Seems like you wasted an inordinate amount of money just to bang away some code that you can learn in a High School elective.

I thought I just explained this to you, but apparently it went over your head.

There's a difference between a computer programmer ("code monkey") and a software engineer. Not just in title. But a massive difference in education, qualifications, and pay as well.

It's equivalent to the difference between a radiology technician and a oncologist.

Oh yeah? Well when I took AP Comp Sci in High School, I learned how to create databases and sort them! Also, I made this program that moved fish around in an imaginary tank. Top that!

My bedside manner is too good for me to be an oncologist.

Nah, all you need to do is learn how to bang away at some code. Seems pretty straight forward and mundane to me.

I wrote a program to have snowflakes fall. This was on a Radio Shack Trash-80, with only 4k memory.
