Oh noes! I am white and live in the south so obviously I must be teh racistsisists! Ohhhh Lordy!

You're a barrel of laughs. Sorry, just because you have to ride the bus with the brownies doesn't mean we have to have your recruiting stations in our neighborhoods.

Would you mind pointing out the connection that you see between the two?
Now, when your state has voluntarily joined the Union you are volunarily a junior partner. That is why in the 1960's the states had no jurisdiction to supercede federal integration laws with state segregation laws. Thats the same reason California, let alone a local municipality, can not require something of the Federal government through a local ordinace.

I wouldn't call you a racist when I could call you worse, a conservative.

And I will say that you are making your kind look particularly authoritarian and pig headed today.

Oh, and of course racist, but that goes without saying.

You don't seem to comprehend the justification for the requirement of the states to treat individual citizens of their state equally under the law. That's what makes you look racist. You compare that to a community not wanting a recruitment center in their neighborhoods. Sure the feds have a right to make sure all citizens are treated equally. They do not of course have the right to do what ever they want. My God dude, that's ****ing totalitarianism.

Thats because you are trying to superimpose text saying one thing over text saying something completely unrealated.

The segregation example was merely an example of Federal law superceding State law, and why it can do so. For the very same reasons municiple rulings have zero effect on the federal government unless the feds want it to in a particular instance (which they almost never do).

That's what makes you look racist.
And you are why that word has no meaning any more.

You compare that to a community not wanting a recruitment center in their neighborhoods.
The powers that impact both are the same. I only picked a Southern example because of your trolling.

They have the right to do whatever they want within the rule of law. Putting a recruiting station wherever they want is fully within the letter (and spirit actually) of the law.

Jesus! Federal law doesn't just supercede State law, there has to be justification for it. In every such case there has been justification. If you think that is wrong than what cases can you give as example.

I said within the letter of the law Kid. And the jurisdiction for national defense AKA recruiting stations is the sole domain of the Federal government.

Seriously, your thinking is severly screwed up. You could only come from one region of this country.

Come on Pak, what law are the Feds going to use to overturn this if it passes?

How does the placement of recruiting stations relate to racism in any way?

Considering your degree of personal success, I wouldn't be throwing stones.

                        What law is that?
The Constitution maybe? Ring a bell?

Why would they bother overturning anything. The "law" the municipality is considering, not that it will pass, will be stillborn.

Well you brought segregation into this? You think that since it's ok for the federal government to require states to treat individuals equally that it's ok for them to be able to force recruitment centers onto us. Since you don't understand the difference you appear to be racist. I don't think that's an unreasonable observation at all.

You actually think they will win with crap like that? Seriously, what are you talking about?

No, I brought a state law versus a federal law into this, one of which happened to be segregation.

You think that since it's ok for the federal government to require states to treat individuals equally that it's ok for them to be able to force recruitment centers onto us.
No, I think that in one case federal law has jurisdiction, and in one case federal law has jurisdiction.

Since you don't understand the difference you appear to be racist.

Yes, that is obvious. And sad
