Kid , do you think you should be allowed to put a communist or socialist party office in ANY neighborhood where political party offices are generally allowed. Don't you see why it would be offensive for said community to try to ban you and would likely infringe on a number of your rights

How about a communist party military recruiting centre?

personally I am shocked that Kid is in any way supporting the right of an actor with governmental or regulatory powers to ban a completely legal gathering for people with certain viewpoints and beliefs or seeking certain types of legal employment.

People can recruit for whatever legal thing they want. For a communist military, the limitations would come with respect to the ability to possess advanced weapons (although in the US, I think people assert the individual right to weapons up to and including Abrams tanks)

You can have the tank, but not the gun. Collectors have special permits and regulations to own historic weaponry of that sort.

If you take a look at a lot of display pieces you will notice the bolts have been cut with a blow tourch.

Why? The inability to reason to the inevitable conclusions of his beliefs is trademark Kid.

If their dislike for military recruiters were based on the tendency of recruiting officers to lie through their teeth and manipulate young people, I could see their point. But they seem to be motivated more by pedestrian hippie-ism.

Yes, my tongue was firmly in cheek however....

Recruiting stations aren't some sort of club for the furtherence of free speech or political ideas (as a political party office would be) but serves a different purpose. I have a problem with your analogy.

That sounds kind of like the people that have "disabled " automatic weapons. Its a very quick repair to bring them back to their full usefulness is it not??

I don't need to show case law. I can pass any law I wan't unless you can show that it's unconstitutional or there is some other basis why it shouldn't hold. The ball is in your court.

I'll expand it to allow you to show any sort of cogent legal reasoning then. We have several lawyers here if you think I'd not be impartial.

It's already provided. You can ban pornshops so you can ban military recruiters. What is your counterargument?
