No, because then it isn't an ambush. You walk into an ambush, you can't charge it, if you do, you realize it's an ambush and thus it isn't a real ambush anymore.

I think it's more in the lines of busting a movie, like Hammer. When you see you're in the middle of an ambush, you shout "STOP! HAMMER TIME!" and start busting moves!

That's what it means. I think.
