I am unable to parse your question, it does not conform to the English language specifications.

Correct. What you put into the game of life, is what you get back out as suffering. You catch on quick .

What order do you perceive? All you are doing is stating that you can go to Heaven if you follow that path of enlightenment. You are creating your own order, just like Fatty creates her own order by deciding that she deserves a cookiie. That's not real order. You must have real order to have a Heaven.

        • Nibbana is nearly completely different to heaven.

          • Okay, lets try to explain this.

Heaven, is a place where you get what you desire.

Nibbana is extinction of such desire.

Whatever. That's essentially the same thing. Both are Utopias. They are attempts to explain reasons for life, to attach an order to the universe.

                • They are quite different.

For one, Nibbana is achievable in this lifetime.

                  Lets also try an example.
You may desire order. But any attempt to satisfy this desire for order, will prove unsatisfactory. And you know the reason! It's because there really is no order, it's just your perception, it's freaking circular.

And that kind of desire for order, is one of the things which has ceased once one attains Nibbana. The mind no longer desires the unsatisfactory.

Maybe only in one's perceptions, ay?

Again, you seem to be talking about simply altering one's consciousness in one's lifetime. That isn't really religion. Of course I think Buddhism goes farther than that.

Of course not you did that? Are you saying that you govern the universe?

                        • No, but the universe may not have complete order as a whole, but it certainly contains a buttload of it.

                            • Oh, you're using "order" to mean fairness or moral rightiousness, not having nice neat patterns like a snowflake.

Still, there's no need for God for the universe to be overall fair or moral, it's just that ours probably isn't.

                                Ahh, no.

Naturally one can not attain nibbana in this lifetime if one dies before doing so, but it doesn't matter at all, as illustrated from this quote from a famous Monk.

"If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace. If you let go completely, you will have complete peace."
                                -- Ajahn Chah

It doesn't matter how far you go along the buddhist path, it all brings peace. Nibbana may be the final stop, but the journey itself provides immense benefits.

Again, you seem to be talking about simply altering one's consciousness in one's lifetime. That isn't really religion. Of course I think Buddhism goes farther than that.
                                Fair enough.

I'm both an Atheist and a Buddhist, ignoring for the moment that Buddhists are Atheists so saying I'm an Atheist is kind of redundant, one of the reasons I say I'm a Buddhist, is to annoy Atheists.

Because Atheists like to say things like
                                "Religions are stupid and evil!!!"
To which a not too uncommon retort can be
                                "What about buddhism?"
To which the same Atheists may begrudgingly admit
"Well, buddhism is okay... it's only stupid... "

A small victory for tolerance towards religions!

I admit myself that I don't think of Buddhism as a religion. But I'd rather be grouped with religionists than not.
