  • Historical Might-Have-Been Conquerors "Hurt-or-Heal" Game

Alright, this is Round 2 everyone!

This is a standard "hurt or heal" game, similar to OzzyKP's recent "Greatest Conquerors" game.

    The Rules:

    1. You must add 2 points and deduct 2 points each vote, so that the total points tally remains the same.
    2. You can only vote once a day. Days are measured by the calendar date, not by 24 hour periods.
    3. When any character has 0 points remaining, they are eliminated.
    4. The last one standing wins!

The contestants for this competition are "Might-Have-Been" Conquerors, great generals who could have had a huge impact on the world if their campaigns hadn't been cut short, whether by defeat, disaster, or death. So without further ado, here are the candidates...

    Cyrus the Younger
    Pyrrhus of Epirus
    Hannibal Barca
    Cao Cao of Wei
    Harold II Godwineson
Rodrigo “El Cid” Díaz de Vivar
    Nur al-Din
    Henry V of England
    Oda Nobunaga
    Gustavus II Adolphus, the Great
    Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson
    Louis-Napoléon (III) Bonaparte

            Sabotai anyone?

His horses were munching grass a stone's toss from Vienna…

            And then they receded.

If anybody else wants to add to the list, they are welcome to do so, but whoever you add should be major enough to make for a good "Might-Have-Been." New characters start with 2 points, and adding a new character counts as your positive vote for the turn.
