It's not important what you get, but what you give.

that aside, I got a dog, mp3 player, cloths, alarm clock/radio, gift card. that's pretty much it.

A dog? What breed? And is it a he or she?

        Does it have a name?

By the way, not only should we share with one another about what we got for Christmas, but what did you do?

Sunday, Dec. 23: my church had a wonderful, fun potluck gathering that evening

Monday, Dec. 24 - Tuesday Dec. 25: went with one of my closest friends to his father's in Palatine (Chicago suburb)

Wednesday, Dec. 26: going to a lesbian couple's holiday party at their apartment

Sunday, Dec. 30: going to drive up to see my mother, siblings, nieces and nephews (weather canceled our original gathering in time for Christmas)

              Pretty typical year:

24th -- traditional family gathering in evening, extended mostly local family. Nice this year with early scheduling so we could get home and relax with some homemade eggnog.
25th -- sleep in after family party; get up around 9 or 10 for family giftage
-- traditional nuclear (3 of us) family dinner : roast beast, Yorkshire pudding, fruit salad, a nice wine. Heaven.
--head to Ming's for traditional "done with traditional Christmas" party. Have some drinks. Red wine this year. Just got back.

              Lather, rinse, repeat.

              It's been another good year.

                  Sunday, Dec. 23:
At 8 pm I got a call that my brother caught some burglars in his house (they only got inside the house, nothing stolen, but they did cut over some wires to the light and partly destroyed a window)

                  Monday, Dec. 24:
Went to my above mentioned brothers house to celebrate Christmas. Just the usual: Eating at 6 pm, dancing around the X-mas tree at 8 pm, unwrapping presents until midnight.
When I went home at midnight I saw a few Ambulances and police and God knows what else went straight to where I live (almost anyway, 200 meters away from where I live). This is not something you see often where I live

As for what I got there's not much to tell. Just got a laser mouse, some t-shirts, The Simpsons movie and some kitchen stuff
This space is empty... or is it?

                    Really?

Does anybody else do this? I have never heard of it.
