  • Christmas: After Action Report!

    Whatcha get?

I got a bunch or kitchen stuff (which I needed), a windchime for my porch, some bar glassware, some nice shirts and an iPhone. I would never have gotten the iPhone on my own, but my folks normally get each kid one big thing and they got me that. I am going to keep it

    What about you guys?

My sister thought she had to work today so we got up at 4am to open presents before she left. At 5am she hospital to see how busy they were and they told her they forgot to call last night and let her know she didn't have to come into work, she is just on call. Early wakup for nothing

The Ender series. Ender's Game, Speaker For the Dead, Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon, Xenocide and Children of the Mind.

Also, the complete series of America's Greatest Hero on DVD. I didn't even know it was out on DVD. Big score.

My primary present highlight this year is a 24" LCD monitor that my parents bought for me. I'm setup with it now with the screen resolution at 1920x1200. I had been at 1024x768 for, hrmmm -- not quire sure how long but 10+ years anyway.

I had been using a (and the same) 15" LCD monitor for ~5 years and still works as good as new. I'm now storing it away as a backup...

Few clothes, bit of money. Nothing much, which is all I wanted for Christmas.
