The other story was about the real Hogfather being slain. It says nothing about the movie being destroyed as well.

LordShiva must learn to separate reality from fantasy.

                  Dubbed I assume,
we have only rarely movies as original with subtitles on TV.

                    More's the shame.

                    Dubbed programmes are bollocks!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

On the other hand, Death will be able to speak in CAPITAL LETTERS.

It aired on the Ion channel in the US on December 23. We just happened to luck into it. Very strange movie. I want a life sized Hogfather Death figure to put in my front yard next Christams.

Death: Humans need fantasy to *be* human. To be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape.
                          Susan: With tooth fairies? Hogfathers?
Death: Yes. As practice, you have to start out learning to believe the little lies.
Susan: So we can believe the big ones?
Death: Yes. Justice, mercy, duty. That sort of thing.
Susan: They're not the same at all.
Death: You think so? Then take the universe and grind it down to the finest powder, and sieve it through the finest sieve, and then show me one atom of justice, one molecule of mercy. And yet, you try to act as if there is some ideal order in the world. As if there is some, some rightness in the universe, by which it may be judged.
Susan: But people have got to believe that, or what's the point?
Death: You need to believe in things that aren't true. How else can they become?
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.
                          -Richard Dawkins

I missed it earlier on Ion. Didn't know I got the channel. But I just watched it on YouTube!

                            Happy Hogswatch!
