Here's one I have used in decades:

Take a long sheet of aluminum foil, crumple it up (loosely), and then uncrumble it (gently). The crinkly aluminum looks pretty good.

Yes, but will it hurt someone?

I wouldn't give it to a small kid, but giving it to a teenager should be okay.

I just wrapped 35 gifts during the Bears game... They look really good, except I will admit I had to wrap one of them twice. If I have a strange size, I just put it in a box to make it easier

The game was that dull, huh?

I figured it would be... but mostly, I got pissed that they didn't score more than 3 points early after all the turnovers and bad punts... The one gift I did a bad job on was the interception for a touchdown

                    pics please!!

I should have taken a pic of gifts I wrapped. they didn't turn out too bad. The top part (I lie the gift face down on the wrapping paper) looks decent. Only looks bad when you turn it over.

I decided to start taking the trouble to wrap presents well some years ago, and can honestly report that only do my presents look good, but I haven't started fancying men.

What's so hard about wrapping gifts??
Mine always look great, and it takes very little in the way of effort.

Oh, bull. It isn't the twisting a box up into the paper, it's the ends. You got to cut the paper and get it folded neatly. Key word, "neatly".

Stores will do this for you in these modern times.

The only cuts I make are for how much paper I need. After that, I just fold and tape. To get the ends folded, I make triangle-in folds on each corner and then fold the entire thing up. Then tape. Easy as pie.

Let me ask you this, Imran. Where the hell were you when I needed you? Huh? Do you have an answer for that?
