Here's one I have used in decades:
Take a long sheet of aluminum foil, crumple it up (loosely), and then uncrumble it (gently). The crinkly aluminum looks pretty good.

I just wrapped 35 gifts during the Bears game... They look really good, except I will admit I had to wrap one of them twice. If I have a strange size, I just put it in a box to make it easier

I should have taken a pic of gifts I wrapped. they didn't turn out too bad. The top part (I lie the gift face down on the wrapping paper) looks decent. Only looks bad when you turn it over.

The only cuts I make are for how much paper I need. After that, I just fold and tape. To get the ends folded, I make triangle-in folds on each corner and then fold the entire thing up. Then tape. Easy as pie.Originally posted by SlowwHand
