Compared with women who actively lie to men about their fertility status to get pregnant, or who are cheating she-dogs - like this one - this is nothing.

No, actually, he was quiet.

What I mean by this is while the man in the story (assuming everything in the story is true) did not act in what I consider the most proper manner, whatever he did was LESS reprehensible than what the woman did, by quite a margin.
He was basically cheated and lied too and in response, hid the fact that he knew what was going on.
This is much less worse than the person doing the lying and cheating in the first place.

They probably deserved each other IMO.
Actually I think the whole story is fiction - but it's still an interesting hypothetical.

That's not the point, though. Yes, she's a reprehensible, cheating little *****, and ultimately did worse - but if someone starts a relationship without telling their partner that they've had a vasectomy, well, there seems to be something wrong somewhere. If he had been open and honest in the first place, she wouldn't have been able to lie herself.

I consider him a douche for the elaborate snare-and-burn he set up for the girl. I'm sure it's tempting to mess with somebody who cheats on you and then has the gall to try and guilt-trip you into financing her shame, but toying with her in that way is grotesque. He's getting his rocks off watching her cry, for pete's sake. The gentlemanly thing to do would be to immediately ask, "are you sure it's mine," just to give her the chance to be honest, then tell her you're sterile and to get her cheating ass out of the house. No sick, drawn-out cat-and-mouse games.
