probably not. but it would wholly and entirely suck and the geopolitical fallout would be 50 times worse than the Iraq invasion. NATO would dissolve, the US would lose all of it's alliances and it's international cooperation and there would be sanctions from the EU and a few other countries. But even if some evil dictator seized control of the US government and outright invaded Canada I doubt the world would respond militarily due to the dominance of the US navy. Rather defense spending everywhere would sky rocket and when eventually US naval dominance could be successfully challenged by one or more other nations they likely would not liberate Canada but would instead issue an ultimatum to discourage future aggression.Originally posted by Spec
