If you guys feel like celebrating, then you can add me to the list of the newly promoted.
Showed up at work on Monday and was immediately grabbed (literally) and taken to a new area. I was given three new passwords and the programs they access.
And that was my training. Five minutes in on Monday - welcome to a new job!
Didn't even want the damn thing. Now the people who actually applied for the position are shooting eyeball daggers at me. Not that I am bragging - the collective incompetence of the applicants was what led the company to go with me.
I did enjoy sitting beside the guy who tried to dress me down last week for being unable to do my job, however. I seem to be able to do his job without even being trained!Long live the Dead Threads!!Comment
