Chinese Begin to Colonize Africa: 750,000 Already There

Funny how the Indians were expelled from Africa, and now Chinese are trying their luck
One my Indian relatives used to own a shop in Tanzania before his family was kicked out and having their property confiscated. Authorities wouldn't lift a finger and the shop ended up being burned to the ground a few months later.
I think the Chinese are seriously into Africa. After all they have ~100 million men they can't marry. If they ship 10% it's already a significant number.

All cell phones have a metal in them which is almost exclusively mined in Africa.
I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
Niobium and my understanding is that securing this metal was the root cause for the Rwanda genocide.
Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks - those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest. - Thus spoke Zarathustra, Fredrick Nietzsche
We are in a chaotic time where the world will mix up to a point where we will no longer recognise what country someone is from.
At the moment we have all these ingredients, some taste bad, some taste good, some are just for colour, and we're only now just starting to really put the ingredients together, it will boil, but will calm down during the simmering, when the simmering settles, you will be left with a delicious peaceful world.

I saw this fact advertised on a little guilt-trip presentation at London Zoo, of all places. They were saying how evil it is to change phones regularly because of the environmental impact of mining that metal.
As I have a fairly ancient mobile phone I didn't have to feel guilty at all about that one.

Most diamonds in the world come from Africa.
And your example isn't too great. What about the middle east and all their oil? You think they did good for them selves?

Not to forget oil, not only in North Africa (think Libya, Algeria) but also elsewhere (Sudan, Nigeria for example)
