I generally only like Clint Eastwood movies. My dad was a huge John Wayne fan, but I don't care for the Duke. He just seems like an arrogant ******* and I don't like the way he talks . I did kind of like Wagon Train, but that one also had Kirk Douglas, and I did like kirk douglas.

I like the strong silent type. Man with no name . Or blondie if you want to call him that.

Never cared for tv westerns, can't think of a single one I like. Though I admit I did watch Little House on the Prairie as a kid, but it was what my dad was watching, so I didn't have much choice. Does that count as a western?

As for movies, Unforgiven has been mentioned above. That is my favorite. Man with no name series is also very good.

One more I want to mentioned right now is called High Plains Drifter. He's just vicious in this, and I love that. Underrated film imho. Though definately not politically correct with treatment of women, keep that in mind if you see that

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

The only TV Western I can recall watching was Bonanza! (and it was bloody awful IIRC)
