      I actually understand google's point.

      I think what they are saying is that they will abide local court / government rules, in their respective constituencies. However, they will not, as Google Inc., introduce their own ideas of censorship.

      That means, IMO, that if the US or Israel requires them to remove the anti-semitic sites in the search results shown to USians or Israelis - they will. But only there, and only by law.

      But they will not voluntarily introduce their own (google inc) restrictions on freedom of speech. Which is good policy.
