  • Do You Really Like Vegetables?

If I was going to make a blanket statement, I'd have to say no.
I like potatoes cooked in most any manner.
Spinach? Brussel sprouts? Cauliflower? Broccoli? BEETS, for God's sake!

Just thinking about it makes me ill.

    Yes.
Carrots, peas, roasted turnip, sprouts etc all fine with me

Ok, Mr. Veghead, a little trivia for you.
The first jack o' lanterns were made from turnips.

Depends on the veg, a nice roasted parsnip or a bit of sweet potato you can't knock...I do like meat, but you always have one with the other so you don't have to choose.

As for myself, it depends on the Veg and how it is cooked.

Potatoes, carrots, peas, cauli, brocolli, parsnip, corn, sprouts

Beetroot, spinach, swede and anything boiled to death

What amazes me is that I really like them. I'm usually the first person to have problems with 'extreme flavours' and so-called 'acquired tastes' but even as a kid I always loved sprouts - as long as they're lightly cooked, peeled of their manky outer leaves and slightly al-dente.

Anyone who doesn't like vegetables is both culinarily and culturally challenged...

About the only thing I've tried so far that I would rather not have again is Okra, but because the texture is literally like eating slime and the taste just doesn't sufficiently overcome that little hurdle.
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?
