I dont know you, but for me special abilities means being able to levitate, read minds, throw killer laser beams from your eyes, etc

But my shoes are extra springy and give me superhuman bounding abilities greater than the average man in his average shoes. That combined with my naturally hairless body, which decreases wind resistance, make me super fast.

These people deserve respect, but not like this, this is making fun of them and even if they don'r realize it, they aren't special and they certainly do not have any special abilities. It's like poor people are special as well, since they don't have money either.
