No I got it. Even you are intelligent (REALLY!) enough to realise no one could have directly stolen your idea, however your entire OP clearly betrays the fact that it felt as though it had been stolen…

You clearly didn’t realise the guy that had ‘not actually stolen’ your idea was already dead years before you even had it. I guess you were too embarrassed to admit your mistake when people questioned you about it for fear of looking stupid and therefore embarked on this charade about all this being a joke anyway. And thus now look even more stupid.

The more you protest your innocence despite the overwhelming evidence against, the more I am going to call you on it.

Just admit that you didn’t know the guy who came up with your idea before you did it (and died!) before you even came up with it…
