  • Fox News and Rudy Giuliani

The allegation now is that Fox not only has a GOP "bias" (to put it mildly), but that Fox is backing Rudy and tried to hide an affair between Bernie Kerik and publisher Judith Regan at a time Kerik was up for Homeland Security Sec thanks to Rudy...

Rudy was responsible for Fox News getting on the air in NYC back in the 90s and his friendship with Roger Ailes goes way back. Will the GOP back a candidate with an expanding closet of skeletons after corruption played such a significant role in losing Congress?

I hope not, alot of us non-Republicans dont like corruption and we're tired of the 2 parties taking turns treating the US like a fiefdom.

I saw this two days ago but didn't want to post it as someone would claim it as proof of my supposed bias.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Not just pro-GOP but the big whigs at News Corp have decided that the other GOP hopefuls can't win so they've been deliberately giving Guiliani positive spin and protecting him from negative stories.

So far it seems like there isn't a whole lot of meat to the story. She's yet to actually name the executive that she claims pressured her or to realease the tapes she claims to have.

Umm...the story is about Fox covering up for Rudy, even to the point of asking her to lie to federal investigators researching Kerik for the job of Homeland Security chief.

What a sad state of affairs the GOP is in, if it is relying on Giuliani to carry an election the White House. Remember when everyone was laughing at the idea?

Errr... We're suddenly listening to the sour grapes of the lady who greenlighted If I Did It?

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Should we start listening if she has the proof? You really think she filed this suit without it?

And from what I heard, Ailes greenlighted OJs book after she did and she got blamed (and fired) when it turned into a nasty PR situation.

Dino, I have no preconceptions about these people. They're scum and they prove it every night of the week.

Sour grapes to back Giuliani? And backing Hillary is what?
