        /me chuckles

        Oh how naive...
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

So you think she has nothing? She's filing suit against political bigwigs who will smear her and she has nothing?

            Yeah...bias is bad. Good point.
Corruption, not bias. Do you see the word "bias" in that quote?

              You're biased against corruption.

"non-republicans" are not the only ones against corruption.

While technically correct, there appeared to be an inherent bias in his statement. If he would be so kind as to clear that up, then I'll just move along....

I think thats part of the process she just signed onto... If you're right, she's setting herself up for bankruptcy. So employing a little logic leads me to believe she does have something on them. That, and the "character" of the people she's suing.

I think there are two questions here: (1) Is she likely to be telling the truth? and (2) so what?

I think the answer to (1) is "yes," for reasons Berz has pointed to: it's not likely that a person with Regan's ambition and cunning would do something of this magnitude empty-handed, and everybody at Fox seems slimey enough to make her scenario plausible.

But so what? There's no evidence that Guilliani himself had any hand in this, so at worst all it proves is that Fox is overtly, nakedly partisan and values their own agenda above honesty, decency, or the rule of law. Is there really anyone left who'd be surprised by that?

to paraphrase Romney's spokesman, such scandals negate any "character" advantage the Repub nominee has against Billary Clinton.
