IMO, the black guy is accusing the Mormons of over talking, but hes the one thats over-talking. And he manipulates the conversation to his advantage. But basically, he does seem to have a thought out opinion compared to an imposed one on the Mormons.

    Or is it all fake?

Here is one comment on the vid:

this video was set up by some born again losers:
to make them feel better about the goofy **** that they believe in. if they want a debate, have them meet with some fanatical mormons... wait a second, there are no fanatical born again mormons.

It looks set-up. The missionaries also didn't behave like missionaries... but that happens. (The way they introduced themselves mostly. After that they didn't get the chance to say much.)

Religionists arguing about 'Truth' with other Religionists, its like watching one legged men in a butt kicking contests. Though I must admit I do like to see whitey get Pwned by the Black man.
Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks - those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest. - Thus spoke Zarathustra, Fredrick Nietzsche

Is this true or is most of the stuff about "space gods" and "polygamous gods" made up by Mormon detractors? This is not the stuff their missionaries talk about when they go around canvassing for converts.

More likely it was staged on one side; i.e. the Christian guys knew that Mormons come around that Burger King at certain times every week, and waited there to pounce on them. Why else would they have brought a camera?

He even mentioned something in there about how missionaries deliberately look for people who appear to have no religious background instead of Christians (since the latter are much tougher to brainwash), so from that allusion I'd guess even his choice of attire was "bait."
                      Unbelievable!

It could be... you get all types as missionaries... but those missionaries didn't sound like they are taught to.

"We're representatives of Jesus Christ. We go around preaching about Jesus Christ"

They are taught to say they are representatives of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, not Jesus Christ directly. Also "teaching" rather than "preaching". Just sounds like something someone unfamiliar with the missionaries would say.

Actually, assuming Mormons are Christians, who needs to hear about Christ more? Other Christians or those who aren't pracitcing/don't beleive?

This is actually something I disagree wih my own denomination about as in north america a lot of the evangalism seems geared for Christians of other denominations rather than those who aren't Christian. I mean, no thinking people in the same denomination are going to have all the same interpretations. Talking to and telling other Christians about your own interpretations and encouraging them in their Christian walk is good. But the goal should be to convert those who aren't Christian, not get more members for your denomination.

My experience with practicing mormons is fairly positive, although I think their unique interpretations are wrong.

According to Mormon doctrine the gods originally came from Kholdar. Didn't the gods worshipped by the Colonists in Battlestar Galactica also come from Coldar? Is Battlestar Galactica disseminating Mormon propaganda?

Is that why Starbuck is smiling when she makes her return in the last episode? Did she meet up with some Mormon missionaries?
