I have no idea where it is, but...
I spoke with the attorney and he pretty much gave me a run around and told me it would be a ton of money to patent something or really to enlist his service (retainer). Additionally, it seemed he wouldn't be able to do anything to protect my interests without a working model or know how on how to make it.
Thus, I've been working at transcribing my invention into a lab book and, luckily for me, getting it notarized by my neighbor. I have also been researching RF OEMs in the area to help with the prototype. I am pretty sure the materials and labor will be cheaper than the attorney, but I want to protect my interests. I will be calling folks after Christmas.
The idea is to get the prototype built on a CDA (confidentially) and hope that my notebook work will protect the concept and then market the product to companies who would license it.
