We all know you are a trouble maker Ben. Admit it.

I'd like to help but I am useless in this area. ORD is my tech support.

And he makes me work with stone knives and bearskins...

You were giving advice, Ben. So was Snoopy, but I would hold off on that DMZ thing - it is called that for a reason.

If both modem and router work separately but not together, then there is only one thing that I can think of that may be happening (limited knowledge, not failure possibilities).

Hook up a computer directly to the modem and get your IP address. If it starts with 192 or 10, then your modem is probably doing something called Network Address Translation - NAT - which is really your router's job. Usually thats ok, but...

If this is the case, try putting the router back in place and accessing the configuration page. Turn off NAT and DHCP, and see if you still can access the web and, of course, MySpace.

Good luck with the repairs and the kids.

These things must not cost money.

ok update on what feels like day one million.
I have plugged all pcs one at a time to the modem they will allaccess the accounts. Except one, but it had connected before. so i isolated that one pc and tried through the router nothing but google home page again. So next i hooked up the router after leaving all accounts pulled up and when the pcs got connected again u could navigate ur account as long as u dont sign out. If u do and try to log in ur account agian google home page again.
ORD the ip address are different with modem alone and router and modem together. The modem is a 70 soemthing and the router is 192 I dont know anymore i have tried everything with the expecttion of dmz and buying a brand new router.

Well, we broke down and bought a new router- problem solved.

Why the router was acting so weird I don't know still.
