One of my girlfriends has a friend from Bangladesh and her uncle and aunt have a Scottish terrier called "Shiva".

I didn't know why they would name a dog after a deity but then I remembered the "...The Destroyer" descriptor. I haven't met the dog but it sounded like a fairly evocative name!
