  • Where ya' from and what's that chicken you're eatin'?

In the Dr Pepper thread, some people are mentioning chicken franchises that I've never heard of... So I was wondering....what chicken franchises are in your area?

I'm from Los Angeles, we have:
    (1) KFC
    (2) El Pollo Loco
    (3) Popeye
    (4) Koo Ker Roos. [added via Edit]
(We used to have Chicken Delight. That turned into Mr. Pizza, but I haven't even seen those stores around for awhile.)

In Atlanta there is KFC, Popeye's, and Church's Chicken.

edit: Does Chick-Fil-A count? And if it does, Bojangles as well. And Zaxby's is down here too. And Boston Market.

Nah... Popeye's spicy chicken is the best of the fast food chicken joints.

But I find the quality of chicken at Popeye's better than Church's. Which is a bit funny, since they are both owned by the same parent company.

Oh, I forgot Zaxby's... I'll add that with Chick-Fil-A and Bojangles in my original post (if they both qualify, since they sell chicken nuggets and sandwiches, but not chicken breasts, thighs, or wings).

Chick-Fil-A and places like that don't really count, do they? Do you eat there?

                  I feel deprived. I've never heard of Church's Bojangle's, Zaxby's or Chick-Fil-A.

All we have in our town in Oregon is KFC. Same story in Tagbilaran. I'm amazed at how many chicken places are mentioned in this thread. Never heard of most of them.

In Manila there's a Kenny Roger's Roasters, but we don't get there too often.
