WinAmp 5.5. A very fine player. It's unstable when trying to auto-tag, but other than that very good.

Is that some kind of mod/addon?

            It's a separate program.

See hear sonny. I hear the phonograph is popular with all the young dapper gents and helps in wooing the affections of their lady friends. Why if I had two score pence, I'd pick up the nearest Sears Catalogue and purchase one for myself.

Good Lord. I first started my music collection on 8-Track.

8-track you say? Ah yes those audio recordings within a compact plastic cartridge. Tomfoolery if you ask me. Next thing you know they'll be integrating the negro and white baseball league. If it works the way it is leave it alone I say. Damn foolish.

Apparently, Nullsoft has redeemed itself from the nastiness that was Winamp3? Switching from v.2 to v.3 ranks as one of my rudest upgrades ever.

It was such a fiasco for their imago that they quickly created a new version and branded it as "WinAmp 5". Would've called it 4 too many users would've apparently thought that it wouldn't have been improved enough from the buggy state of 3...

I no longer have 8-tracks of course, but I do still have 300+ cassettes.

I still have a lot of my old cassettes, though I lost a case of 30 when moving once.

My friend once got an old Kiss 8 track once when I was a kid. More of a novelty, as it wasn't exactly new. And I remember my older brother having a couple.

Cassettes were nice because they were so easy to record on. Unlike CD's. You could record a cassette on any ole' boombox.

I still remember walking down the street with a boombox on my shoulder like I was in the ghetto or something. . I even called it a ghetto blaster back then. But then boombox became the naming convention for those things.

In hindsight, putting the boombox speaker up to my ear probably wasn't a good thing.
