I am inherently sceptical of any so-called measurements of sunlight taken by British scientists.

The last time any sunlight shone directly through the cloud cover on that benighted isle was 16 Aug, 1986, and it caught them by surprise. Here was the brief write-up in the Times:

British meteorologists are struggling to comprehend the appearance of a large orange-red ball in the sky this morning at approximately 06.35 hrs. The object made its way slowly across the sky from east to west over the course of twelve hours, before disappearing somewhere over the Atlantic at 20.19 hrs. No explanation for this surprising meteorological phenomenon has been offered, although a pagga broke out in Parliament after the Prime Minister called the Whip's wife a poofter.

Great, so now the nutters have an excuse to ignore cutting back on fossil fuels at all, instead of using the time to balance CO2 levels before the sun ramps up again.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

the market is making us seek alternatives. Once gas becomes more expensive other options become financially feasible.

Actually don't get your panties in a bunch, the scientific community is still divided as to what the next cycle will be. Those 'environmentalists' hoping for global warming so they can blame somebody may yet not be disappointed.

I blame Spec for not getting his car on the road fast enough and making CO2

No problem - that is always allowed
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

No you most definately may not.

Bush doesn't drive a car, a person called a 'driver' does that. The driver person is the one that pushes on the pedal that causes the vehicle to emit greenhouse gasses.

Can you honestly say the same Zkrib?

Bush is as innocent as a warrior that tosses a penguin to a polar bear.
