Good point, but...

People in different countries can see different front pages.

On Remembrance Day in Canada (and Britain, I hear) we get a logo with poppies.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't do something for Veterans Day and Memorial Day for Americans, but I can guess that they didn't want to annoy any special interest or the other. Go figure the result...

Or, they're run by a bunch of pinkos from Stanford who would rather spit on a vet of the Imperial Storm Troopers than shake his or her hand, and that would be worthy of discussion.
