For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Quebec's industry is that pathetic? 70% is construction?

70% is ran by construction yes.

Building from the ground up and renivation consists of 60% of the american market as well.

Wood, metal, plastic, wrapping materials, electricity, shipping, labeling, clothes, food (restaurants, cantines and such), gas....Its all related to construction. And most products are aimed at that.

It would be easier to name products not related to construction.

If there is no construction, there is no economy. Think about it....or better yet, read about it.

Without food there's no economy either, but a province with 70% agricultural economy is pathetic also.

Construction? Jesus christ, that's the worst thing you guys can do with your crashing bridges.

The US does deserve to be mocked. Pricing will eventually catch up if the dollar continues to tank, and travelling abroad has already become more expensive.

Since Bush is such an idiot and he's printing money like crazy to finance his war, our CAD $ is now exactly the same as the USD.

I don't think you have a firm grasp of the economics involved.

                        It was a gross generalization.
