  • Thank you Bush! Now I can pay my car parts for less!

Since Bush is such an idiot and he's printing money like crazy to finance his war, our CAD $ is now exactly the same as the USD.

I can now buy my parts for cheap since I get'em from california. Compared to last winter, I now save 30%!

    Woohoo!

My friend even went to the US (Plattsburgh) to buy a Subaru WRX STI! Here, its 51000$ CAD, and in the US its 44000$ USD. Haha! He saved 7k$.

You americans must be so proud of him. I am.

Now, what would I like to buy....hmmmmm....Boost controler? So many items for so cheap...And we're not even thursday!

Did your friend read the fine print on the warranty?

Of course, this is pretty bad for the Canadian merchants who aren't doing as much business because people are going to the US instead :|

Our dollar is at par yet we pay $7K more for the same product and you mock the Americans?

Don't bother him. He's busy being smug.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

                  Yes I am!

Because I am thinking for my own pocket.

I dont care for Canada and its revenue really. This is good for me. US is slowly stopping buying wood from us, which in turn makes the wood factory close down...slowing down the construction/economy at the same time. (70% of our economy is based on construction) Since the economy is slowing down, jobs will be lost, interest rates will go up, people will have difficulty paying their mortgages, house value will go down, making their mortgages higher than what the house is worth, people will have no choice but to sell their houses for cheap, and I will be here to buy them out.

Since I'm irreplacceble where I work (highest on the ladder after the owner), I will never lose my job.

                  Booya.

                        Everything is possible....but most unlikely.

The company exist since 1951 and we make abrasives for most of the huge companies (which I am not allowed to name) under their brand name, even if WE make them.
