In your illustration we would see the corner of WTC1 from POV2. Not the front side, as we actually do. Also this POV would hide WTC2, as it appearantely doesn't.

Dude, the proportions and scale of my picture can be changed arbitrarily to show exactly what the photographs do.
But take a look at the pictures: Two front side images of WTC1. Two frnt side images of ESB as well.
VERY SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT ANGLES OF THE FRONT SIDE. You are aware that from very far away, even a significant change of location and angle won't change what something looks like, right?
