Not if it is self defense, which according to the witnesses it was.

You are confusing 3 different situations (and Aggie never said they all happened at once either). The party incident was on Dec 1, the gun incident was at a convenience store on Dec 2, and the assault of the 1 white guy by the 6 was on Dec 4.

Um... that was, as you said, the next day. So justifying the pulling of the gun because he was "aggressively [confronted]" doesn't pass muster, because the confrontation was the next day.

I would imagine if the white kid was aggresively confronted at the convenience story, the black kids would have been charged with assault.

Hell, it doesn't matter which version of the convenience store story you believe, SOMEONE would have been charged with assault; the specific person depending on which side you think is telling the truth.

And of course pulling a gun is a sensible response to being in an argument. I forget, this is the US we are talking about, so rationality doesn't really apply in these cases. Where I come from, if that happened, the book would be thrown at anyone pulling a gun. We don't tolerate that sort of barbarism and civic endangerment, despite who might get hurt in a fistfight.
