I just feel sorry for people like this guy and Cindy Sheehan (hope I got the right person). They are obviously grief stricken. Who am I to say how to deal with such grief? I don't think they are acting horribly, but a horrible thing has happened to them. I'm trapped between resentment for their opinion and sympathy for their loss. Either way, no law abiding citizen should be subject to violence of any sort especially not for voicing their opinion.EViiiiiiL!!! - Mermaid Man

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Victims should be listened to as bearers of witness though.
Not so much to an event as extensively covered in the media as the Iraq war, and which we are in the midst of, but to the many genocides that the perpetrators are so often so eager to hide from the light of day, and that their apologists wish to sweep under historical rugs."A person cannot approach the divine by reaching beyond the human. To become human, is what this individual person, has been created for.” Martin Buber

I dunno what Pat is talking about but it does seem like the guy is kinda dodgy as he tried to kill the Marines who informed him of his son's demise.
Also I've seen nothing about this in Google.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
