Are you saying you want government officials like Hillary to dictate how parents should be raising their kids???

I quite liked the idea of just chemically neutering people instead of giving them ASBOs, that way they can't breed further trouble down the line.
Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

              Agathon,

Don't forget STDs, but you've made your point.

basically if youre a parent you cant win. Everyone has to take out on you everything from their political issues with liberty, to their resentments about their own parents.

Implementation would be hell and civil rights groups would be up in arms, but I think we should all be reversibly sterilized at birth (also probably not possible). When we get to a proper age and want to have children, we'd then have to take some sort of test and undergo a background check before we were given a licence to have children, then our sterilization would be reversed and could have children. Of course this raises all kinds of questions and lots of complaints about the fairness of the system, not to mention putting a lot of power into the government's hands (never a good thing), but my point is that some people just shouldn't be allowed to have children and I wish we had some sort of fair system to track them down and stop them from having kids.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

It's all noise. The only approach they could possibly take is greater enforcement of present laws, which means ensuring that games are not bought by adults and put in the hands of kids. Completely unenforceable so are they going to ban anything with violence in it? That is plain censorship. Don't expect too much of this noise, the Tories don't like to be too quiet for too long. If things get really quiet, they roll out Boris
