    Archaeologists think they may have found the tomb of Ahuizotl, the last Aztec ruler prior to the reign of Montezuma and the arrival of the Spanish. If so, this will be the first royal Aztec tomb ever excavated. Cool.

    Nice, and could be indeed very informative!

    Because no Aztec royal tomb has ever been found, the archaeologists are literally digging into the unknown. Radar indicates the tomb has up to four chambers, and scientists think they will find a constellation of elaborate offerings to the gods on the floor.
    well duh, but at least they know where the walls are!
    Most digs don't even use archaeometric devices because it costs helluva lot of money
