They did. However they also claimed they were above the law, which is Cort's original point.
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

You know, this was a splendid opportunity to harrass Aneeshm about the superiority of Hindu Civilization. Instead we get people feeding another Moby-troll. Blech.

Just proves my point that religious people are indeed stupid.

Sorry, the sample size is far too small (LOTM alone). Try again.

...as are people who make huge generalizations based upon the actions of a tiny minority.

Actually I am talking about the actions of the majority: They all believe different supernatural beings and can't even agree which supernatural beings are the 'real' supernatural beings.

You can't get much more moronic than that...

I never realised you were that old.

i must say, carmarthen is about the last place you'd expect to find a hindu retreat.

I remain baffled by your belief that this is somehow a compelling or forceful argument. People have differences of opinion about everything: political ideologies, aesthetic standards, morals, priorities, even scientific theories. Religious belief is no exception; given the immensely personal impact of religious experience, it'd be incredible if we didn't disagree. You're just being a smug, self-congratulating dipwad for no conceivable reason. As usual. Get over yourself, Moby.

Elok, I'm baffled by the fact that you haven't ignored him yet. Ever since I started applying it liberally these forums have been much more pleasant to read

Nah Moby, since you obviously is one of the jesters of this site, then it's of course allowed to insult you personally.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

It's just so sad when people feel they have to resort to personal attacks...
