    1.) Energy:
A.) Standardized nuclear plant design and simplified process for obtaining NRC approvals. Goal to be 95%+ electrical power generation from nuclear.
B.) Major research grants into battery technology. Tax credits for corporations sponsoring battery research
C.) Tax credit to industry to build and tax credit to individual to buy electric powered automobiles

    2.) Foriegn Policy:
A.) Form PTO(Pacific Treaty Organization) with USA, Japan, ROK, Austrailia, and friendly Pacific island states. Taiwan to be an asociate member with special status. Alliance to be committed to defending thr right of Taiwan to decide its own future (reunification or independence), protecting pacific shipping lanes, and containment of any DPRK aggression or PRC expansion.
B.) Support modernist democratic movement in Iran by every means possible. Increase covert operations against Iranian influence to highest priority. Do everything possible to force peaceful change
C.) Work with India to become real allies.

    3.) Domestic Policy:
A.) Teachers...Triple the number of teachers and reduce the student teacher ratio to 10-1. Empower schools to maintain discipline and provide intervention in failing students lives. Colleges...Create a free 2 year college in every state...if you graduate high school, you can at least get two years post secondary education.
B.) Balance the budget. Force transparentcy on budgetary items. Set taxes to needs. Set needs to reality.
C.) Support States Rights and strict constructionist views of the constitution.

Then what are you doing messing around in education policy when it is a State matter?

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Awesome. I would add telling Nevada go to hell and putting all the waste in the facility built there for that purpose. I would much rather utter pollute (and it is stored, not like we are just dumping it) one location of a few dozen square miles than sort of pollute 100 sites around the country. Easier to secure/maintain that way too.

            Form PTO

I would also encourage Japanese rearmament.

I disagree, I think we need to deemphasize college education and take the stigma away from vocational/technical education. Most people with a degree don't need it. Also, colleges need real standards. Think of all the people who coast through college, that should not be possible.

His point is that we waste an incredible amount of money (& manpower, etc) on fighting Marijuana, which is no more harmful than alcohol, and he'd rather use those resources to go after, say, crack or heroine.

                        Exactly

Also, my pet theory is that with a legal outlet for drug use alot of people would just use marijuana instead to avoid the hastle/consequences of other drugs, or just stick with Marijuana because it will no longer introduce them to the other trafficers (which right now are the same people offering weed) or it is too much of a hastle to move into the other now much more heavily enforced drugs (who has that kind of energy/focus after a long legal bong hit anyways ).

In other words the demand for the other drugs would go down, and thus the resources to combat whats left would be further concentrated.
