I'd love to go to Caen sometime... unfortunately, I don't think it will be anytime soon.

I'm from Brighton. I've just spent 20 years of my 22 year long life somewhere else.

As long as this unspecified time is more than two months away, I should be in the area and free to meet up. I'll have to figure it out closer to the time.

Will you be wearing the polish national costume of short cropped hair and a tool belt?
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Well I'll meet you if you can make it into London. It isn't far!
