This came from a reading of EoN's thread and Ming's seemingly endless indulgence of him. If there came a time when scientists isolated a specific gene that caused people to be black and found a way to reverse the "disorder," would you choose to be white?

I defy Ming to find a meanigful difference between these threads.

Last I checked there is evolutionary purpose and advantage to being Black, just as there is to being white. Maybe you could enlighten me where being gay has a purpose and advantage? Your poll might have worked had my argument been relegated to only the adverse social effects on being gay.
